Due to the strong bilateral business relationships between the two countries, NEXIA Romania & AS/NEXIA Turkey member companies have organized, on November 11th a joint event in Bucharest - “INVESTING IN ROMANIA - Opportunities and Risks –“.
By its topic, the meeting targeted Turkish investors and Turkish companies acting on Romania’s market and potential investors from Turkey. Key-experts have been discussing relevant aspects on the subject area revealing the opportunity for the attendees to identify new business prospective and alternative solutions for the current problems they confront with.
Tugrul Ozsut and Erdinc Angin, partners at AS Bagimsiz Denetim ve YMM A.S - AS/Nexia Turkey, discussed about the double tax treaty between Turkey &Romania, incentives for Turkish investors abroad and about the Nexia Turkey & Nexia Romania relations.
Nexia Romania representatives Marioara Zaifu (Consulting R Group), Beatrice Onica Jarka &Dinu Petre (Cunescu, Balaciu &Associates) and Iulia David (KG Audit &Accounting) addressed to the participants about the new accounting regulations and tax amendments coming into force, in Romania, beginning with January 1st 2010 and the legal aspects of investing in Romania.
Special guests and speakers at the event were Bahadir Necat - commercial counsel, Embassy of Turkey in Bucharest and Omer Susli – President of the Turkish Businessmen Association Bucharest.
