The Automotive sector is one of the leading sectors of our country with its added value, the employment it provides and its connection with other industrial sectors. Automotive sector is main purchaser of main industrial sectors like iron-steel, petrochemical, rubber, textile, glass, electric-electronics and initiator of technological developments at these sectors.
Around 20 companies on the world, which are originated from 6 countries, are dominant over more than 90% of automotive industry and trade. Automotive production presents around 70% of total motor vehicle production.This proportion is effective for Turkey as well. Especially the qualified manpower, the quality acquired at production and cost advantage ensured with high efficiency have made our automotive sector a new and reasonable production sector for global markets.
